About Social Media Camp

We are Social Media Camp – Canada’s largest social media conference. What makes us unique is the broad spectrum of delegates we attract as we tackle all aspects of social media. People come from all over North America, and from all sectors of the economy – small business, large business, government, education, and non-profit.

Of course we cover social media marketing – communications, sales, crowdsourcing, e-learning, digital marketing, content marketing, e-mail marketing, inbound marketing, and more.

But we are not only a “marketing” conference. We look at the cultural impacts of social media, its effects on politics, and its security and safety implications.

What does the future hold, what’s on the horizon, and what is its impact on your business, relationships, family, lifestyle, and our world?

Field Trip is a 5-day, 4-night event for evolving creators and artist entrepreneurs. We're talking specifically to you: photographers, videographers, designers and art directors.

At Field Trip we believe that expanding your mind is essential and for this reason we pour our best energy into bringing you 3 full days filled with classes taught by innovative teachers that will help you excel in your business and your craft.

All meals are shared making connections with other like-minded artists easy to come by. Evenings and free time are laced with activities that will leave you feeling like a kid again. All at an award-winning, 300-acre resort where "camping" equates to tin roofs and warm showers.

Set in a gorgeous, unplugged, natural environment (imagine California luxury living—in a forest by the ocean), Field Trip is the perfect venue for you to relax, learn, and connect—in a way that’s intimate.

Our time together will be spent at El Capitan Canyon, just north of Santa Barbara along an unspoiled stretch of the California coast.

This is not camping as you know it. We're all sleeping in cabins and not doing our business in the woods! There are hot showers, modern bathrooms and resort like amenities. Glamping!

Nestled against the Los Padres national Forest with access to 3,500 acres of pristine nature preserve, the Canyon is set on 350 acres of rolling hills and creek canyons and is a five minute walk to El Capitan State Beach.

El Capitan Canyon is the perfect place for people to unplug, relax and connect as it offers a no fuss, back to nature camp experience with s'mores by the fire, hiking, and outdoor hangouts.
